Lorne McGregor

Bass Guitarist

Lorne had already tasted chart success in South Africa with his band Mc Cree who also had a song voted into country's top 100 songs in 2015. Lorne moved to the UK in early 2017 looking for a London project to take his career to the next step.

His early musical career saw Lorne playing lead guitar with bands such as MY LATEST EX, KELVIN DECLINED, HEROES WEAR RED but it was his developing passion for bass guitar that saw him make the transition to the 4-strings 9 years ago. As co-founder of South African rock band MCCREE, Lorne toured South Africa extensively after signing with SONY and following the release of their debut album "Of Hopes And Dreams" of which the single "When I Was 17" made the Top 100 songs on radio 2015.

Lorne McGregor playing live on StageLorne has worked with producers Theo Crous (Springbok Nude Girls, Prime Circle, Parlotones) and Rae DiLeo (Filter, Veruca Salt, Henry Rollins) as well as Foo Fighters keyboardist Rami Jaffee.

When not making music Lorne enjoys cooking and is a fully qualified chef!
